The plan was to ensure that there was high enough ratio of land to homes so that properties would still have plenty of native flora and fauna around them to give The Reef a beautiful space. in 1996, Phase 2 of The Reef expanded the community to 58 lots and remapped some of the original lots to make way for Bowsprit Court that winds through the neighborhood.
